Hear all, trust nothing. (Rules of Acquisition #190) Live recording of the Modulation Lab V. Founded in 2013, the Modulation Lab is dedicated to researching the auditory perceptual waveforms and the possibilities of their deformation, modification and blending. At the heart of performance was a synthesizer system, which was controlled by the players manually or by using logic processes and random voltages, but never controlled precisely. The man-machine acted here as a network rather than a hierarchy. The participants of the Modulation Lab V were Felix Raeithel, Helge Meyer and Gunnar Büttner. The concert was part of the recent Blurred Edges Festival in Hamburg.
