Music on offer from The 45 King, Supa Dups, Razor X, Mr. Oizo, Hudson Mohawke and more of the most sublime shizz to get your weekend pleasure. Into hour two and we take another dip into the vaults. DK this time from 2000, this show became one half of a promo mix CD, given away while on a North American tour with Coldcut (the unnofficial first Solid Steel mix CD). Among the usual DK mix of old and new, are Yush 2K "Fade Away" (which made the short list for "Now listen"), The Orb "Little Fluffy Clouds" given an excellent remix by Danny Tenaglia, Big Dada Allstars with their Planet Rock homage "Showtime" and Little Richard on the breaks and beats. Nice! "

This week (28th March) we welcome in the guest spot Killer Tomato with a fine selection of broad beats. Music off the shelf from Cymande, DJ Kentaro feat Spank Rock, The Police, High Contrast, Jean Knight and more from across the spectrum. All neatly pick 'n mixed for your listening pleasure. In hour two we return to the vaults. With the Iraq war reaching it's 5th Anniversary, it seems timely to broadcast Strictly Kev's 'War Is Not The Answer' mix from 2003. With an hour of war-themed tracks for the show, some are commentary on previous wars, some poke fun, some are there purely because they have a war-related title but all stick to the central theme. DJ Shadow, Marvin Gaye, Chris Morris and Public Enemy all make their point. Sad then that 5 years on this senseless waste of life continues. Playlist vom Autechre-Special (02.04.2008)
Eigentlich sollte an dieser Stelle die "Ae Radio Show" laufen, die Autechre Ende Februar 12 Stunden lang live über ihre Website ins Internet gesendete hatten. Leider wurde uns dann aber auf unsere Anfrage kürzlich mitgeteilt, dass diese Show als eine spezielle und einmalige Sache angelegt war.
