Rooted in Punk, grown up in experimental industrial, produces
crawling doom-dub, mutations of classic reggae tunes, or next level
industrial illbient. Dystopian versions of a sound, that has been
associated with glaring sunshine of the caribbean before, is now dragged
through the dirty snow flanking the ring-highways circling helsinki.
After several releases in tape-, cd- and 7"-format on BEMBÖLETAPES
(finland), TOTES FORMAT (germany/finland) and LIBERTATIA OVERSEAS
TRADING (united kingdom), SOZIALISTISCHER PLATTENBAU (hamburg) has
released GRMMSK 1st 12"vinyl called ONE WORLD - NOWHERE TO HIDE. hier

Monomal & Muttermahl, 2 Musiker, viele kleine Tasteninstrumente und
Knöpfchenkisten. Sounds aus manipulierten Kinder-Casios und
Exploitation-Kino, gebastelten Effektgeräten und gestörten
Schaltkreisen. Irgendwo zwischen Industrieabfall und Pop Art, Phrase
Sampling und Circuit Bending, Four to the Floor und B-Movie Rauschen.
Seit 2004, immer als Live Session. Gern auch vor Publikum. Von Galerie
bis Techno Club. Und nicht programmiert. Es passiert einfach. Seit drei
Jahren mit Videos von strange circuit entstehen bizarre Formen der
Filmvertonung, dieses mal mit Elektro Karate.
